The Hydrasearch Snorkel Hose Assembly was specially designed for use in the snorkel induction system on nuclear submarines and is approved under NAVSEA Letter 03Y2C/377. The assembly can withstand external pressures associated with deep sea submergence and survive corrosive seawater environments.
The assembly comes standard in 134-1/2″ Lengths. Other lengths are available as required. Fittings are constructed of monel and are a welded socket design. This inhibits seawater from entering the assembly.
