The lay-on-deck conical cap is attached to the towing adapter on the inboard end of each flight of hose in the 6″ lay-on-deck astern fueling rig. It is shackled to the end of the delivery ship’s recovery line which is used to pay out or haul in the hose rig over the stern.
To be used with aluminum split clamps.
