The 2-1/2″ automatic disconnect coupling consists of a coupling body which separates into two halves with closure valves in each to prevent spillage. It is used with the 2-1/2″ F.A.S. hose rigs to provide an automatic disconnect with fuel shutoff when tensile loads on the rig exceed 500 pounds.
