The double probe receiver assembly is used to receive fuel from ships equipped with either the single or double probe senders. It is comprised of two receiver assemblies, a swivel arm assembly, a base plate assembly and an inhaul block assembly. The receiver assemblies are functionally the same as the single probe receiver but contain surfaces for bolting the units together. The double probe receiver assembly is available in three configurations, left hand type “A”, right hand type “B”, and left hand & right hand type “C”. The configuration is determined by the discharge side when looking inboard into the receiver.
