Description

The astern fueling grapnel is used by the receiving ship when retrieving the astern hose rig. It is attached to a 50 foot manila line and thrown across the hose messenger line. When it connects with the hose messenger line grapnel the line is retrieved to bring the astern hose aboard the receiving ship.
